Supply Teacher – SEMH Schools & Alternative Provisions – BirminghamDo you have the skills and resilience to teach in SEMH schools and alternative provisions? Are you an experienced teacher with excellent classroom management and the ability to support and inspire students with social, emotional, and mental health needs? We are looking for a dedicated Supply Teacher to provide cover across a range of specialist settings in Birmingham.This role is ideal for a teacher who can quickly build positive relationships with students and adapt to different learning environments. You will be teaching small classes of students who may present challenging behaviours, requiring a calm, structured, and engaging approach. With strong leadership teams and excellent pastoral support, these schools provide a rewarding and supportive setting for teachers who are passionate about making a difference. This role requires a QTS or QTLS Teacher and is suitablefor ECTs who are looking to gain more experience in a variety of schools.Job Role:
  • Teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 in SEMH schools and alternative provisions.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively and using de-escalation strategies when needed.
  • Delivering engaging and structured lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Building positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Providing consistency and stability in the absence of the usual class teacher.
