About the Role:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant position providing support to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in a primary school within South Birmingham.
- Assist teachers in delivering high quality, engaging lessons that follow the curriculum and challenge students to achieve their best.
- Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment through effective behaviour management.
- Adapt support to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all are included and receive appropriate assistance.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to support both academic progress and personal development.
- Build meaningful relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
About You:
For this role, you will need:
- To be a fully qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Achieved a nationally recognised qualification at level 2 or above in English/literacy and Maths/numeracy) in the South Birmingham area, with relevant experience in primary school settings, ideally supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage students and collaborate with teachers and staff.
- A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to supporting students of varying abilities.
- Flexibility in your work schedule and a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
