About the Role:

  • Higher Level Teaching Assistant position providing support to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in a primary school within South Birmingham.
  • Assist teachers in delivering high quality, engaging lessons that follow the curriculum and challenge students to achieve their best.
  • Help maintain a positive and focused classroom environment through effective behaviour management.
  • Adapt support to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring all are included and receive appropriate assistance.

About You:

For this role, you will need:

  • To be a fully qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Achieved a nationally recognised qualification at level 2 or above in English/literacy and Maths/numeracy) in the South Birmingham area, with relevant experience in primary school settings, ideally supporting Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to engage students and collaborate with teachers and staff.
  • A compassionate, patient, and professional approach to supporting students of varying abilities.
