Salary: 100 - 110 per day

Long Term Futures is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Aston on a full-time, long-term basis from March 2025. This is a fantastic chance to play a key role in a supportive and thriving learning environment.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them overcome challenges and reach their potential.
  • Lead engaging lessons during teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.
  • Work alongside teachers to create and implement individualized learning strategies.
  • Support the creation of a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Encourage student participation and progress by fostering a nurturing environment.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar role.
  • A solid understanding of SEN and effective support strategies.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage classroom activities and uphold a productive learning environment.
  • Adaptability and readiness to take on various teaching responsibilities when needed.
