LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Harborne area. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting SEN pupils and creating an inclusive learning environment. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will provide crucial support in educational activities, working closely with both students and teachers to raise academic standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offering individual and group support to students with SEN, helping them engage with lessons and fostering their development
- Assisting in the creation and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to SEN students' needs
- Collaborating with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes both academic and social growth
- Tracking student progress, managing challenging behaviour, and regularly communicating feedback to staff and parents
- Supporting the teacher by leading small group activities and helping maintain an organised, positive classroom
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree
- Experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (preferable)
- Strong understanding of SEN support and dedication to promoting inclusion
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow guidance
