L3 Teaching Assistant | Acock's Green, B27 | 95 - 105 per day | November Start

LTF Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Acock's Green. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting SEN pupils and nurturing an inclusive learning environment. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the classroom and working alongside students and teachers to help raise academic standards. This long-term position comes with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group support to SEN students, helping them engage in lessons and encouraging their personal growth.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of SEN students.
  • Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to create an inclusive classroom that builds both academic and social development.
  • Monitor student progress, manage challenging behaviours, and communicate regular feedback to staff and parents.
  • Support the teacher by leading small group activities and contributing to a well-organised, positive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or relevant degree.
  • Experience working with SEN pupils.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow guidance.
