- Providing 1:1 support for children with moderate learning needs in Key Stage 1.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Using creative and engaging strategies to support learning and development.
- Encouraging children to build confidence, independence, and social skills.
- Monitoring and recording progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Building positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Key Stage 1 or with SEND pupils.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
