My Birmingham based client is recruiting for an Engineer to join their Engineering team. This position will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance reactive and installation of Fire and Security systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and reviewing fire alarm systems and associated products at client sites and taking responsibility for the maintenance of these systems.
  • Completing all new installations.
  • Carrying out alterations of existing fire alarms.
  • Testing and Inspecting Fire Alarm Systems.
  • To be flexible to attend the main office based when required.
  • Installation and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems to BAFE/NSI/BS standards.
  • Complete small and larger installations as part of a team or on your own.
  • Servicing and diagnostic repairs to various fire alarm systems in both industrial commercial and council properties.
  • To service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers Fire / Life Safety systems.
  • To perform installation and service repairs to door access equipment at construction and customer sites.
