StarCity Entertainment have an exciting job opportunity for a Security CCTV Operator working within our centre’s security team.

Purpose of the Role
- To provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and contractors
- To ensure full compliance with Health & Safety Policy for the centre
- Monitor CCTV cameras
- Using multiple softwares and systems
- Supporting the centres operation with adhering to the company process and procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Reports to the Duty Manager and Centre Management Team
- To complete tasks as directed by the Duty Manager & Centre Management Team
- Assist with enquiries from the contractors/members of public as required
- To comply with their individual responsibilities to ensure that the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order are complied with, in line with company policy and site procedures.
- Ensure that all incidents, H&S issues are recorded & logged
- Ensure that contractors arriving on site adhere fully to requirements for contractor management and site H&S in line with the company policy and site procedures.
- Report any H&S issues to Centre Management and act accordingly
- Complete scheduled life safety system testing including smoke curtains, emergency lighting, fire alarm & PAVA systems as directed by the Control Room Team Leader and Centre Management
- Producing footfall and sales data reports
- Using the control room software’s to support contractors & permits to work
- Ensure visitors & contractors fully comply with site procedures
- Control access and egress to Back of House areas using the access control systems
- Follow lost property procedures for items of lost property found onsite
- Issue equipment to cleaning/security and FM teams, ensuring equipment is in full working order
- Manage CCTV archive ensuring archive complies fully with GDPR regulations and polices
- Ensure fully compliance from all Duty Controllers relating to Data Protection, GDRP and other site-specific procedures
- Operate the Centres Life Safety Systems & CCTV System to ensure safety of the centre, with a valid Public Space CCTV Licence

- Ensuring that you are proactive

- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills
- Problem solving and reporting back with any issues
- Previous experience working in a control room environment
- Key decision making
Working Hours - 4 in 4 off, 12 hour shifts, 7pm – 7am
Salary - £12.81 per hour
