7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thu

7.30am – 3.15pm Fri

We're recruiting for a leading joinery and woodworking company specialising in high-quality custom doors, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork. We are seeking a skilled and experienced wood/timber machinist to join the dynamic and effective team.

Job Description:

As an experienced timber machinist, you will join a skilled team of assemblers and machine operators. You will be required to hit production goals and ensure the high-quality production as well as the safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cutting chipboard cores on an upright Walsall.
  • Feeding cores through an edge banding machine.
  • Glueing up & facing door cores.
  • Loading doors into hydraulic press.
  • Cleaning up finished product by means a variety of electric hand tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with wood.
  • Extensive knowledge of hand tools and techniques.
  • Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
  • Experience of working in a similar environment.
