Field Service Engineer
Commercial Carwash Equipment
South Birmingham area (Solihull, Bromsgrove, Redditch)
German Manufacturer of vehicle washing equipment, with over 1700 employees in more than 70 countries, have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join their dedicated team.
This is a field-based role that will require driving to site locations to service, install and repair various valeting equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of equipment, including rollover car washes, jet washes, vacuums and air water towers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections, monitor equipment performance, and document maintenance activities accurately.
- Be willing to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
Background Experience:
- Mechanical Engineering - 1 year preferred
- Electrical Engineering - 1 year preferred (not essential)
- Proficiency with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office product
- Full UK Driving Licence

Average earnings to £39,000 based on the following;

- Basic Salary circa £33,000 basic
- + Overtime after 45hrs
- + 1 in 3 weekends paid at Overtime
