Our client is a specialist manufacturer of vacuum technology, providing solutions in heat treatment, and equipment enhancements.
A bit about the role:
- My client is looking for a highly motivated individual, who is focused on giving technical assistance on my clients products & their customers needs.
- The Field Service Engineer will be responsible providing technical support both on the mechanical and electrical aspects of the role.
- Within the role of the Field Service Engineer, you will be helping our clients customers within the Vacuum/Heat Treatment industry.
- In the role of a Field Service Power Engineer, you will be required to have an all-rounded engineering knowledge, such as PLC systems (ideally Siemens or Wonderware).
- Within the role of this Field Service Engineer, this will include all phases of dealing with customers and maintaining and developing customers breakdowns.
- Our client is looking for a Field Service Engineer who has installation experience but also can identify opportunities for our clients to improve their systems and give quotations.
- Due to this Service Engineer being a field service-based position, this position will have a company car included.
Whats required:
- Full UK Driving License.
- This role of a Field Service Engineer does require someone who is comfortable with occasional work away from home, overtime on the weekends (including during public holidays).
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home dependent on the project needs.
- Ideally someone with a background in Heat Treatment or Vacuum Systems would be an advantage but not crucial.
- Both proficient in both Mechanical and electrical aspect of engineering.
