Position: Regional Service Engineer

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £30,(Apply online only) - £33,(Apply online only) + Bonus

Company Van

Monday - Friday

(Role entails travel within the region and occasional overnight stays may be necessary)

Holidays - 25 Days + Bank

Workshop based, but travel is required to cover absences when needed.



The Role:

· Service and maintain portable chemical toilets, ADA approved wheelchair access units, and mobile eco welfare units in the South West - Swindon, Bristol, Plymouth.

· Carry out routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed to ensure equipment functionality.

· Travel between regional depots and customer sites to inspect, service, and repair equipment.

· Prioritise service tasks based on urgency and customer needs.

· Maintain accurate service records, documenting inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.

· Interact with customers professionally, addressing requests and providing technical assistance as needed.

· Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations during all service activities.

· Participate in training programs and provide feedback for process improvement.

· Stay updated on welfare equipment technology and industry trends to enhance service quality.



What we need from you:

· Proven experience in a fitter role with relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience.

· Preferably, a comprehensive understanding of welfare units.

· Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.

· A customer-centric approach to workload management and a dedication to collaborative teamwork.

· Valid UK driving license is necessary.
