Gate Automation Engineer required for our client, one of the leading manufacturers and installers of electric domestic and commercial gates, metal and wooden gates, access control, barriers and more.
You will be covering the Midlands area, as a field-based engineer, with weekly visits to the Head Office to replenish stock.
Gate Automation Engineer Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 - £38,000 DOE
- Company Van and Fuel Card
- Mobile phone / Uniform
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (40 hours per week)
- Overtime available - hourly rate during the week - 1.5X on Saturdays
- 20 days + 8BH
- In-house training
Gate Automation Engineer Job Overview
- You will be involved in installations of new systems, retrofits, safety upgrades, service and maintenance and fault finding.
- There will be an element of ground working involved when carrying out new installations and this is normally carried out as a team of 2.
- You will have the responsibility of installing new Gate Automation Systems or undertaking the maintenance of existing systems.
- You will be dealing with residents and customers and delivering detailed and accurate reports to the Office via a Tablet.
Gate Automation Engineer Job Requirements
- Previous experience of Gate Automation systems and Access Control systems.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within the industry.
- Experience of welding (beneficial)
- Electrical Installation Qualification (beneficial)
- Knowledge of Door Entry Systems/ Access Control Panels/ Door Automation systems (beneficial)
- Must have previous experience with Gate Automation Systems such as CAME, ROGER, BENINCA, and BFT (beneficial)
- Full UK Driving Licence
