Key Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic, nurturing care to children and young people, promoting their emotional, physical, and psychological well-being.
- Assist with day-to-day household tasks such as cooking, shopping, and supporting independent living skills.
- Help children integrate into social and educational activities, maintaining consistent boundaries and promoting a sense of identity and self-worth.
- Participate in planning and reviews, liaising with families, social workers, and other professionals.
- Assist with health and safety, safeguarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
- Over 21 years old.
- Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
- Experience in residential care or similar roles preferred.
- Full UK driving license (essential) and access to a car (desirable).
- Ability to work shifts, including sleepovers and waking nights.
- Satisfactory DBS check and references required.
