About the Role:
As a Children and Young People Support Worker, you will provide essential care, guidance, and support to children and young people who may have experienced challenging circumstances, including trauma, emotional difficulties, or learning disabilities.

Your role will involve:

Building positive relationships and providing emotional support to children and young people
Assisting with daily activities, including education, play, and social interaction
Promoting independence and life skills development
Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care
Working in partnership with families, schools, and other professionals
Supporting young people to achieve personal goals and overcome barriers
Monitoring progress and maintaining detailed records

About You:
We are looking for individuals who are:

Empathetic and patient, with a genuine interest in the well-being of children and young people
Good communicators, with the ability to build trust and rapport
Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Reliable and committed to making a difference

Essential Requirements:

Experience working with children and young people
Ability to manage challenging behavior and remain calm under pressure
A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Full UK driving license (desirable but not essential)
