Team Leader

We are seeking multiple Team Leaders to join our dedicated homes that support young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and other support needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and have a strong background in care.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to provide high-quality care and support to young people with EBD.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring they meet the specific needs of each young person.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that promotes the young people’s well-being and personal development.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating positive behaviour and providing guidance to both staff and young people.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to ensure the team is up-to-date with best practices and policies.
  • Participate in the on-call rota, providing support and advice to staff as needed.
  • Carry out administrative duties, including report writing and maintaining accurate records.
  • Be prepared to undertake sleep-ins on a rota basis as required by the home’s needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce (CYPW) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within a care setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • Driving is preferred but not essential.
