Family Support Worker

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for dedicated and compassionate Family Support Workers to help children, young people, and families overcome challenges and achieve positive outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-agency environment, ensuring families receive the right support at the right time.

In this role, you will work directly with children and families, using evidence-based interventions to drive meaningful change. You will assess needs, develop and coordinate multi-agency support plans, and deliver targeted interventions that promote safeguarding and wellbeing. Strong collaboration with statutory and non-statutory partners will be essential to achieving the best possible outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE-level education and an NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions with children, young people, and families.
  • A proven track record of completing assessments that identify needs and inform intervention strategies.
  • The ability to escalate issues appropriately, ensuring safeguarding policies are followed.
  • Strong organisational skills, including planning, chairing meetings, and managing a diverse caseload.
  • Analytical skills to assess strengths and weaknesses and develop appropriate support plans.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
