Our Centre is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of Health care professionals We are currently seeking Trainer / Assessors to deliver Health and Social Apprenticeship and short courses from Levels 3 to 5, whilst maintaining the highest quality of standards and compliance.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Offer support to apprentices regarding assessment processes and standards.
  • Manage your own workload to ensure the full requirements of the post are carried out.
  • Visit apprentices at employment to provide support, prepare and review action plans, undertake observations and assessments of competency to provide feedback in line with regulatory and organisational requirements as part of their programme of study to ensure successful achievement of their qualifications.
  • Support and advise apprentices with portfolio building to target standard and ensure they are submitted on time.
  • Support and guiding the learner through to End Point Assessment.
  • To work within the framework set out by Awarding Bodies or other accrediting agencies, including verification and moderation systems, whether set internally or externally.
  • Receive and act on feedback from management, IQA and EQA.

Knowledge and experience required

  • Recognise assessor qualification such as TAQA, D32/D33, A1 or other teaching qualifications
  • Minimum of level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Experience of delivering and assessing Apprenticeship Programmes in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent IT Skills and proficient in using E-Portfolio's and Online Learning and Assessment platforms.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
