Learning Support Assistant Needed ASAP!!

Academics are working very closely with a college based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit for Learning Support Assistants (LSA) who have experience of supporting students with SEN needs.

The ideal Learning Support Assistant will have experience with a range of supporting different learning difficulties. This is a part time position and experience for this role is essential. This position is for an immediate start so if you have experience of supporting young adults/children who have SEN needs then please apply now by sending in your CV!

Role 1 (2:1):

Primary needs are cognitive and learning, will need support with behaviour, motivation and confirming instructions. Support with theory and Maths & English lessons. Male LSA preferred due to the nature of learners needs. There is another learner you will be supporting with SEMH difficulties.

  • Monday - 9.00am - 12:30pm
  • Tuesday - 9.00am - 12:30pm
  • Wednesday - 9.00am - 4.00pm

Role 2:

Learner has reactive attachment disorder, secondary diagnosis of ADHD and hypermobility. Qualified and knowledgeable LSA in ADHD, attachment disorder and communication difficulties needed, preferably male due to learners needs.

  • Monday - 9:30am - 12:30pm
  • Tuesday - 9:30am - 12:30pm
  • Wednesday - 9.00am - 4:30pm
