Do you want to join one of the UK's leading privately held residential and social housing management firms? Due to continued success and growth, we are looking at expanding our team to include a full-time Lettings Manager to join the team in Birmingham and other areas as we continue to grow.
Ezzi UK launched in 2005, and has been working successfully with private landlords, local authorities and registered providers of social housing to manage their portfolios. We work in many different real estate sectors, but specifically in social housing and health care, including:
- Care Homes
- Supported living
- Supported accommodation
- Temporary accommodation
- Built to rent
- Move on accommodation
The Role
We are currently looking for a Lettings Manager to providehigh-quality, effective lettings management service to Local Authorities, Landlords, Tenants and housing associations. The role entails;
- Regular reporting to senior management on voids, lettings and letting stock preparation
- Provide effective management and liaison for landlords on leases and contracts.
- Manage, where necessary, appropriate evictions and notices once all options are exhausted.
- Ensure that properties are inspected regularly and that maintenance issues are managed with the maintenance team.
- Build relationships with Landlords so that Ezzi UK is the first-choice provider for new-to-market properties from existing landlords.
- Work with the Managing Director on all new property leases, effectively managing the pipeline of lettings for local authorities, Housing associations, and referring agencies and ensuring minimal void time.
- Submit property specification and details in full to the correct portals for tenants.
- Manage tenant queries regarding leases, enter and vacate properties, and ensure that critical safety issues are escalated effectively with landlords, maintenance teams, and housing support officers as needed.
- Ensure that all billing receivables are made appropriately for the property portfolio under management and that property transfers for council tax and other utilities are managed effectively.
- Ensure that relationships with housing associations and local authorities' social housing departments are prioritised to ensure no opportunities under existing frameworks are missed and to raise new opportunities for the company to tender to grow the property's footprint under management.
About You
We are looking to speak to candidates with2+ yearsof experience in a similar role, OR applicable experience (such as social housing /tenancy management services)
- Must hold a full UK driving License and have access to own car
- 2+ years' experience in affordable/social housing.
- Thorough knowledge of tenancies and ability to manage them in line with legislation
- Experience of housing benefits applications
Please note that the head office is based in Aston, Birmingham, B6 (on-site staff parking is available), but on-site presence and travel will be expected.
