ProSkillz Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Registered Manager to manage a new EBD children's opening in the Birmingham area.

This is a great opportunity for a Deputy looking for the next step or an existing Registered Manager looking for a new challenge or change of environment. This 3 Bedded EBD Children's Home has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and need a manger that aims to create an outstanding and positive environment for vulnerable young children in their care and firmly believe that the team are central to helping achieve this.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare Or Level 3 and already working towards the Level 5 Diploma

A minimum of 1-year experience as a manager/deputy in residential children's care.

Understanding of a variety of different therapeutic models.

Experience dealing with Children dealing with emotional behavioural and learning disabilities.

Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to delegate effectively.

An ability to work both under own initiative and as part of a management team and overall team whilst maintaining professional relationship boundaries with non-management staff.

Detailed understanding of Childrens Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and other relevant legislation.

Be creative and able to use your own initiative and manage in challenging situations.

Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own transport.
