Communications & Engagement Advisor

Remote Working (Warwick or Birmingham 1 day per month)

Job Purpose

As communications and engagement advisor, you'll draw on your knowledge and experience to implement, maintain and embed effective communications plan both project and everyday communications. This will include internally to our ~150 colleagues but also internal and external customers & stakeholders.

Having a dynamic and distinctive culture is one of the most important priorities within our business. You will utilise your creative writing style to engage with business and drive it forward.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in both internal/ external communications, engagement and ideally have experience of working on a change program/project. Our ideal candidate will also be experienced in supporting the launch of new products and services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop communication and stakeholder plans
  • Manage the communications activity, making amendments and improvements, build strong relationships with stakeholders to develop the best communication approach both internally & externally.
  • Support a programme of engagement to build effective relationships across project teams, our business change function, leadership and the wider business
  • The role holder will have the opportunity to improve and create new ways for the project team to communicate and will play a crucial role in developing our communication and engagement channels
  • Engage project leads, stakeholders, sponsors and SMEs with an agreed change approach to support successful communication delivery.
  • Understanding the environment for change and impact on our teams and people
  • Working with the business to ensure that People impacts are understood, embedded, and sustained through multichannel communication

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in development of communication and engagement plans focused on change and engagement
  • Experience of working on large programmes/projects
  • Experience of building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience creating exciting informative content with a focus on internal engagement
