Job Opportunity: Experienced Social Worker - Safeguarding Team

Job Description:

We are seeking 3 experienced Social Workers to join our clients Safeguarding Team. As a Social Worker in this team, you will be responsible for managing a manageable caseload of Child in Need, Child Protection, and Court cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of CIN, CP, and Court cases
  • Conduct assessments, develop plans, and provide interventions to support children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure effective safeguarding and support
  • Attend court hearings and provide evidence as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • Recent experience in CIN, CP, and Court work
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children's Act
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a car user

Working Arrangements:

  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days required in the office per week (apart from duty week, which is every 7 weeks)
  • Flexible working hours, with some flexibility to accommodate individual needs

Note:

  • This is not a Senior Social Worker role, but an experienced Social Worker role.
  • Full-time hours, with some flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
