Supporting individuals with Challenging behaviour can be a rewarding career. We have long term positions for experienced Support Workers who have a special interest in working with Challenging behaviour and Complex needs and are committed to developing their career as Support Worker within Adult Learning Disabilities.

With a clear understanding of managing challenging behaviour effectively, being able to demonstrate that you provide a person centered approach to your care delivery, and being an individual with a calm attitude and an encouraging approach to the individuals you support, we can offer you long term Support Worker assignments

You must:

* Hold a valid DBS (Preferably registered with the online service checker)

* Have a Care qualification or Care Certificate and a minimum of 1 year UK based care experience.

* Be able to work full time hours across a mix of shift patterns such as mornings / afternoons / evening / nights / weekends.

* Be able to provide references covering the last 5 years.

* Have all Mandatory Care Training up to date or be prepared to complete this prior to being placed into any shifts - we can assist with your training needs if required.

* Be experienced in supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities, Complex needs, and Challenging behaviour)

If you do not hold a Care qualification or Care Certificate, then we may still be able to help. If you have a DBS that is registered with the online update service, we can offer you work more quickly.
