OUR CLIENT

Is a UK leader in the manufacture of Aircrete blocks. They have a strong presence in the Midlands and are currently looking to recruit a first class Aircrete TechnicalLeaderto lead projects ranging from their invention in the laboratory to scale up frompilot plantand similarily the optimisation of existing products.

THE ROLE

The position will be focussed completely onNew Product Development and optimising existing products in the laboratory and liaising with another operational Aircrete expert whoindustrialises these new formualtions at site level.

The role will include the following types of projects throughlaboratory and pilot plant work.

Industrialise new products

Raw Material change optimisation

Complaint resolution

Cost saving initiatives

THE PERSON

This is a role with its roots in Research and Development and using pilot plant to innovate. Ideally the successful applicant willbe experienced in the manufacture of Aircrete products OR a qualified concrete technologist ORmaterials scientist / chemist with a sound understanding of the chemical make-up of aircrete / concrete mixes and the subsequent physical properties.

THE SALARY

55,000 - 60,000 + Car or allowance + 18% bonus + 10% pension contribution
