Domus are on the lookout for a Service Manager to take the reins of a new 4-bed supported living property in Erdington. This is a specialist residential service that supports adults with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour.You will work proactively to build effective working relationships with Local Authority practitioners, families/carers and other stakeholders and your strong vision and coaching approach will enable the development of your team and service.Our ideal candidate will be an experienced Deputy/Service Manager, with excellent leadership, management, and organisational skills.Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance. • Responsible for budget management. • Adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary. • Be responsible for the negotiation of contracts and fees with Local Authorities and PCT`s for new and existing services. • You will be required to maintain the high care standards that have been set in the home and be an excellent manager of staff.Registered Manager Requirements:• NVQ Level 3 and the ability to work towards Level 5. • Good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and Local Authority requirements. • Experience of managing residential services for adults with Learning Disabilities. • A background in recruiting staff team and occupancy. • Experience of line managing a large staff team.Benefits: • Training and Development opportunities • Blue light discount programme• Discounts on high-street, supermarkets, flash sales, gym memberships, etc. • Government mileage rates if you need to travel. • Pension scheme with a company contribution • Free confidential Employee Assistance programme with qualified counsellors. • Free confidential Employee Assistance programme with qualified counsellors.If you are interested in the above position please apply, or for more information contact Jodi Littlefield on at Domus Recruitment.
