Technical Delivery Manager - 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract Hybrid working 1 day per month in the office (Microsoft Stack C# .NET Azure)

The Opportunity
As a Technical Delivery Manager, youll play a vital role in coordinating and delivering technically focused change projects. You'll manage complex technical deployments, align cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of projects within a Microsoft technology stack. With a focus on effective planning, stakeholder communication, and proactive risk management, you'll be integral to achieving our technical and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Planning & Coordination

Develop detailed delivery plans for technology initiatives.
Manage technical dependencies and align resource needs with technical teams.
Oversee technical deployments, testing transitions, and environment requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

Delivery Execution

Lead implementation phases, including development, testing, deployment, and cutover activities.
Manage change initiatives and technical transitions.
Ensure readiness for delivery, with a focus on quality and risk management.
Risk & Quality Management

Maintain risk registers and proactively mitigate risks.
Coordinate issue resolution and ensure constraints are addressed.
Oversee testing phases and monitor quality metrics to maintain high delivery standards.
Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement

Maintain comprehensive delivery documentation, including plans, cutover guides, and status reports.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including technical teams, transformation teams, and business units.
Facilitate technical discussions and translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
What Were Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong background in technical delivery planning and coordination.
Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure and integration services.
Knowledge of software development lifecycles and deployment processes.
Proven ability to manage technical dependencies and coordinate complex implementations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working with offshore delivery teams.

Desirable Skills

Experience in enterprise-scale implementations and regulated environments.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks (beneficial).
