Your new companyBirmingham City Council are seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner for their Best Interest Assessor project.

Your new roleAs a BIA - Senior Practitioner - you will support, direct and manage BIA Assessors, be responsible for the allocation of assessments, support the safeguarding of adults under the statutory guidance of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), provide effective and high quality review and quality checks in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines, Directorate policies, standards and guidelines.We are also looking for someone who can commence working with us quite quickly.Contract up until March 202535 hours full time per week (hybrid working)

What you'll need to succeedQualification as Best Interest Assessor Degree or equivalent Social Work QualificationSocial Work England registrationUp-to-date BIA refresher trainingEligible to work in the UKHold a full UK drivers' licence-preferredPost-qualified experience
