What You’ll Be Doing:Join our team as a CAMHS Practitioner and play a vital role in supporting children and young people with urgent mental health needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for children and young people in crisis.

Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being and recovery.

Offering crisis intervention and risk management strategies to ensure the safety of young people.

Liaising with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to deliver holistic care.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines.

Offering guidance and psychoeducation to families and caregivers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current and valid NMC registration (or relevant professional body registration).

Previous experience in CAMHS urgent care or working with children and adolescents in mental health crisis settings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This role requires availability for long days. The contract is for an initial 3-month period, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
