Sonic Summary

The role involves managing a diverse caseload of children, including those in child protection and children in need, as well as conducting S47 enquiries and various assessments.
Candidates must be qualified social workers with a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and registered with Social Work England.
Experience working with vulnerable adults is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborative work with professionals and agencies, including the Police and Education Services.

Main Responsibilities

Managing a diverse caseload of Children which covers Child Protection, Child in Need and sometimes Children within Proceedings
S47 enquiries
Assessment work - single assessments, risk assessments, parenting assessments
Collaborative working with other professionals and agencies to meet statutory deadlines and the identified needs of children, young people and their support network. This includes collaborative work with the Police and Education Services

Court Reports
Court Assessments

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Social Worker with relevant degree or equivalent qualification
Registered with Social Work England
Experience working with vulnerable adults
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Full enhanced DBS
