About the Children in Care Team:The Children in Care Team is dedicated to ensuring children and young people in care receive the support they need to thrive. As a Senior Social Worker, you will:
Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.Develop and review care plans that promote stability, permanency, and positive outcomes.Work closely with carers, families, and multi-agency professionals to provide holistic support.Provide guidance and mentoring to junior staff, promoting best practices within the team.Advocate for children in legal proceedings and ensure compliance with care regulations.
What You Bring:To succeed in this role, you'll need:A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.Current registration with Social Care England.A strong understanding of fostering, adoption, and children's care legislation.Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
