About the Children in Need Team:The Children in Need Team works with children and families requiring additional support to address challenges and improve outcomes. As a Social Worker in this vital team, you will:
Conduct assessments to identify risks and strengths within families.Develop and implement effective Child in Need and Child Protection plans.Provide tailored interventions to promote family stability and well-being.Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and other agencies.Ensure children's voices are central to all decision-making processes.Monitor progress and outcomes, ensuring the best interests of the child are prioritized.
What We're Looking For:To thrive in this role, you'll need:A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.Current registration with Social Care England.Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures, child protection legislation, and family dynamics.Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
