Are you passionate about fighting modern slavery and supporting survivors? Join the RSR who are working with a Birmingham based charity as an Independent Modern Slavery Advocate (IMSA) and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

Location: Birmingham & West MidlandsSalary: £31,500 per annum (Pro-rata)Contract: Fixed-term until 31st March 2025 (with the opportunity of extension, subject to funding)Hours: 37.5 per week

As an IMSA, you'll be part of a dedicated team working directly with adult survivors of modern slavery, providing immediate support, raising awareness in communities, and coordinating a safe place for survivors in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:Provide advice to partner agencies to improve the identification and safeguarding of victimsDeliver training sessions to raise awareness of modern slaveryManage a caseload and support survivors in making informed decisionsRespond to urgent needs, including medical emergencies and crisis managementWork independently and as part of a team to support vulnerable adults
