Are you an experienced Attendance Officer/Administrator looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working closely with a school in South Birmingham in assisting them with the recruitment of a School Attendance Officer. The role is full time, up to 37.5 hours a week. You will be required to start immediately on a long term placement with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Day to day attendance monitoring
- Updating student records
- Previous experience using SIMS software system
- Answer telephone and face to face enquiries
- Maintain accurate pupil attendance records
- Provide administrative support as and when required
- Provide cover on main school reception as and when required
- Present data to senior leaders

The Successful School Attendance Officer will:
- Need to be highly organised
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have previous school attendance/administration experience
- Be highly motivated, professional and forward thinking
- Have proficient computer skills including experience with SIMS
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
- Require knowledge of school attendance procedures
