Developer

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Developer who thrives in a dynamic learning environment and can pivot to meet project needs using the best available tools. This role involves building custom applications, leveraging Power Platform tools (especially Power Automate and SharePoint), and managing Azure resources. DevOps experience is a plus, with a willingness to grow in this area equally valued.

If you are a full stack developer with experience in C#, Node.JS, Azure, DevOps and SQL, we’d love to hear from you - the Power Platform skills are advantageous but our client is open to up-skilling this person in this area.

Fully remote (UK) role.

Key Responsibilities:

Application and Power Platform Development:

  • Build, maintain, and support custom-built applications and Power Automations.
  • Utilize custom code and Power Platform tools to optimize applications and systems, ensuring functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align development with business needs and technical requirements.

Azure Cloud & DevOps Practices:

  • Deploy, create, and manage Azure resources to ensure seamless application operation.
  • Apply DevOps principles, including CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure automation.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, security, and performance.

Problem Solving and Adaptability:

  • Assess project needs and select suitable tools and technologies to achieve development goals.
  • Seek innovative solutions to technical challenges and maintain a flexible approach.

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Work closely with team members, including business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers, for smooth project delivery.

Learning and Development:

  • Stay current with tools, technologies, and best practices.
  • Expand knowledge in DevOps and cloud practices as needed to support project success.

Technical Skills:

  • Coding Proficiency: Skilled in C# and Node.js, with SQL experience for backend development.
  • Power Platform: Strong familiarity with Power Automate and SharePoint for workflows; Power Apps experience is advantageous.
  • Azure & DevOps: Experience deploying and managing Azure resources or an eagerness to develop in this area.
