Full Stack Developer – Birmingham based for 2 days per week on-site rest of the week remote working.This is a permanent Full Stack Developer role with a salary up to £50,000.As a Full stack developer, you will play an influential role across this business. You will understand the key business challenges across the various departments, and be able to implement the technical solution to resolve them and bring about greater efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.Working closely with the IS/IT Team, you will liaise closely with key stakeholders across the businesses to identify and discuss opportunities and to help develop ways of working.This is an exciting new role which could bring about interesting opportunities in the future such as involvement in AI and the latest technologies.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and maintain web applications (React) and native Android applications (React Native), handling both front-end and back-end tasks.
  • Front-end: Build intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Low-Code (Appsmith).
  • Back-end: Develop server-side logic, APIs, and integrations.
  • API Development: Create and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs for seamless communication between client and server.
  • Database Development: Design, manage, and interact with SQL and NoSQL databases and is comfortable implementing such database solutions.
  • Business understanding: Understand the challenges that departments have and implement solutions to resolve them and bring about efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Platform and strategy: Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
  Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Competent in Microsoft SQL
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience in developing native Android applications using React Native
  • Experience with back-end languages and frameworks
  • Familiarity with database management systems
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Designing modern and intuitive user interfaces using React
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient codes, adhering to best practices
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving issues across the entire stack
