The Role
I'm currently recruiting for a Lead Software Engineer to join an exciting software house producing software and hardware solutions. Their main focus is around asset tracking and fleet management for local government clients across the UK.
They are looking for someone who is commercially savvy and can help develop their teams growth and strengthen the engineering department. You will work within a team of 5 developers, reporting directly into the Technical Director. For this role we need someone who can come into the business and challenege the current ways of developing and introduce fresh new ideas.
This would suit someone from a startup environment. There is a clear route to Technical Director. You will be rquired in office 1 day per week initially, once settled in role you will be able to work remotley and visit the office as and when suits you.
The company are going to be going through a period of growth in 2025, you will play a key part in this, allowing processes to be streamlined.
This Role Will Involve
- Leading or taking part in the entire lifecycle of a project, from ideation to deployment and everything in between.
- Collaborating with team members across the business to deliver projects.
- Creating quality code to help bring value to the business.
- Taking ownership and accountability beyond your own deliverables in order to deliver amazing results.
- Include the latest technology thinking in your work, they love to hear your suggestions!
