SAP ABAP Developer

Your new company
My client is embarking on a digital transformation programme and replacing a Cobol-coded order and despatch system. A number of gaps have been identified, and we are currently seeking a SAP ABAP Developer.

Your new role
As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be able to work autonomously to meet project timelines and drive out resolutions to problems. You will take ownership of accepted tasks with a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Solid experience in SAP ABAP Development.
Completed 3 full lifecycle SAP implementation / rollout projects.
Experience of implementing ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented.
Proficient in API interface developments using CDS Views, OData services, RFC, BAPI, IDOC, Web Services, Proxy, SOAP & REST interfaces.
Strong experience in implementing development objects like Reports, Data dictionary objects, Function modules, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Enhancements, Scripts, Smart forms and Adobe forms.
Experience of using POSTMAN for testing APIs.
Good to have experience in the RESTful ABAP programming (RAP) model and ASAPIO Integration with SAP ERP.
