The Role & The Company
This company are a leading corporate clothing business who provide corporate clothing for international organisations such as RBS, TUI and Virgin Atlantic. They are part of a sister company which provides PPE equipment to hospitals, they are currently on the lookout for a Senior Developer to help them merge both companies together to build 1 In House Management System. This will give each client their own site to manage their corporate clothing needs. They are looking for someone to bring ideas to the table by working alongside the Development Team, Infrastructure Team, Application Team and Support Team.
You will work closley with the Junior Developer, mentoring, managing and offering any assistance required. You will collaborate together, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectivley.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days in their Leicester office is required.
Apply for this role if you have…
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries including XML, VUEJS, jQuery
- Understanding of system integrations including SSO, API and EDI.
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages including PHP Laravel
- Familiarity with databases including MySQL, web servers, LINUX and UI/US design.
- Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Hands on experience of network diagnostics and analytics tools.
- Experience with Bitbucket, forge, agile methodologies, and AWS environments.
- Experience of REACT and Serverless would be a bonus.
- An analytical mind.
- Able to demonstrate effectiveness while working remotely.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good level of education with software development focused qualifications or valid experience.
