Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our implementation team, actively participating in the green-field deployment of the platform.

As the ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development, design, and support of technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform, along with stakeholders and team members. This role will be located in our Birmingham office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

You will work closely with the workstream leads, Architects, BAs, SI partners and cross functional business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Performing intermediate to advanced level development tasks within the ITSM/CSM/ITOM applications within the ServiceNow platform
  • ServiceNow Platform administration, management, and support including deployments.
  • Creating and/or maintaining Service Catalog items, some of which require complex catalogue development experience and knowledge.
  • Creating and or maintaining components such as Server-side scripts, ACLs, Business Rules, UI Actions, UI Policies, and AJAX using languages such as Javascript, Angular, and Python
  • Developing client-focused solutions in the following modules - Customer Services, Customer and Service Operations workspaces, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Knowledge Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Virtual Agent, and CSM/Employee Portal
  • Create and maintain system design and operations documentation.
  • Monitor and report on development progress, status, and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Commit to continuous improvement and learning of ServiceNow best practices, tools, and technology.

Profile

Skills and Experience

  • A ServiceNow Administrator certification and Implementation Specialist (ITSM or CSM).
  • Experience of development on a large transformation project in an agile environment where ServiceNow was integrated with multiple enterprise tier applications; like Salesforce/CRM, NetSuite, ERPs
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with ServiceNow development
  • Strong understanding of development methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to be hands on and work in the detail as and when required.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently, work to tight deadlines, prioritize workloads and work with related internal business functions.
