Description
The successful Systems Architect will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing information systems that support enterprise infrastructure.
- Developing, documenting, and managing the architectural blueprints for the enterprise's IT systems.
- Providing strategic guidance to teams and project managers.
- Ensuring the alignment of the IT strategy and programming with company's business goals.
- Optimising information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.
- Promoting shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.
- Ensuring that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.
- Working with IT project management to develop an overall IT schedule along with resource allocation.
Profile
The successful Systems Architect should have:
- A thorough understanding of complex information and requirements.
- An educated understanding of systems architecture and knowledge in the specific field of the public sector.
- A proven track record of leading and supporting successful projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical language for non-technical colleagues.
Job Offer
Daily rate of £500 - £700 per day (rate to umbrella) dependent on experience
Please note this role is inside IR35 and will require 1-2 days per week on-site in Birmingham.
