A well-established law firm is looking for an accomplished Infrastructure Engineer to join its sizeable IT team. This organisation embraces flexibility so the chosen candidate will be able to primarily work from home, with occasional visits to the office in Birmingham (around 1 or 2 days in the office each month). In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility, you MUST be a consummate communicator with demonstrable expertise in the administration and support of Azure, Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware. In addition to this strong PowerShell scripting skills are essential. Any experience with SANs, networking (switches) and Citrix would be advantageous to your application.

Your focus will be on optimizing and improving the reliability of on-prem and cloud solutions and you will play a key role in maintaining, supporting and monitoring the technology estate including servers, storage, network, data and applications.   As part of a dynamic hybrid team you, you will be responsible for the operation, support and development of the IT infrastructure. Working with a broad range of technologies you will provide a proactive support service, ensuring systems remain accessible, available and well managed. You will also act as an escalation point for support issues such as loss-of-service incidents, maintenance and problem investigations.
