Are you a caring, patient, and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Erdington.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs.

  • Working closely with class teachers and SEN professionals to deliver tailored support both in class and during one-to-one or small group sessions.

  • Assisting with daily routines, transitions, and helping create a safe and encouraging learning environment.

About You:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable (but not essential if you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn).

  • A calm, empathetic and resilient approach to working with children.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.

  • Able to commit to a full-time role and commute to Erdington.
