Long Term Futures Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity to join a mainstream primary school in Hall Green, B28 as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves working closely with students in small groups, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN), including ASD and ADHD.
- Plan and deliver engaging, tailored activities to meet individual pupil needs.
- Provide targeted interventions, such as phonics and reading, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work with individuals or small groups of pupils within the classroom to ensure their success.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
- Experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
- Experience supporting students with SEN and adapting learning activities to meet their needs.
- A proactive, patient, and compassionate approach to supporting students.
