We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team and help empower our students with special educational needs from in both primary and secondsary education .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering tailored learning experiences for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt resources as necessary.
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, fostering independence and confidence.
  • Monitor and record student progress, reporting any concerns to the teaching staff.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and special education staff, to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or special education (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the classroom.
