About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role involves working closely with students with diverse learning needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the learning and development of students with SEN in both group and one-on-one settings.
* Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.
* Assist with classroom activities, ensuring an inclusive and engaging learning experience.
* Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and support progress.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.).
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning and development.
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
