They deal with incidents of bullying effectively.Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our team. The successful candidate will work with pupils in Years 3 to 6 who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will play a key role in supporting the educational and social development of these pupils, ensuring they have access to a high-quality learning experience.SEN needs include:- SEMH - lower framework- ASD - high functioning- Non-verbal- ADHD- Global DelayKey Responsibilities:* Provide tailored support to pupils with EHCPs, both in the classroom and through one-on-one or small group sessions.* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the needs of SEN pupils.* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support the monitoring of pupil progress.* Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.* Support pupils in developing social skills and managing their behavior in a constructive manner.* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure coordinated support for each pupil.* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.Requirements:* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with EHCPs, is highly desirable.* A relevant qualification in education or child care (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, etc.) is preferred.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.* A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.Benefits:* A supportive and collaborative working environment.* Opportunities for professional development and training.* The chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.Application Process:To apply, please submit the following documents by July 7th 2024.1.
