SEN Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B23 | £90 - £105 per day | September 2024

Our friendly partner primary school in the Short Heath area, is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their inclusive community. The successful applicant will have the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the growth and success of students requiring additional classroom support. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Offering support to SEN students in both one-to-one and small group settings, as needed.
  • Working closely with the team to implement inclusive strategies that address the varying needs, abilities, and learning styles of students.
  • Promoting active participation and engagement in the learning experience.
  • Leading small group intervention sessions and providing phonics support.
  • Ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential in a caring and secure environment.

What we are looking for:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree such as Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning In Schools.
  • Experience working in a Primary School.
  • Experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A dedication to assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential.
