Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with a range of special educational needs on a one-on-one or small group basis. You will play a key role in helping students overcome their learning barriers and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), including those with Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the needs of SEN students.
Develop and implement personalised learning plans to ensure progress in both academic and social development.
Manage behaviour effectively, using appropriate strategies to promote positive outcomes.
Monitor and track student progress, reporting regularly to the class teacher and SENCO.
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student well-being and participation.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for the child's development.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) are desirable.
Excellent communication, patience, and empathy.
Strong understanding of SEN support strategies, behaviour management, and child development.
Ability to work collaboratively with the wider school team and external professionals.
